Christmas 2009

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It also happens to be my birthday....if you didn't know.
This year we spent Christmas with Ben's family in Utah. We stayed with Ben's brother Ryan and his wife Michelle. It was great other then me being really sick. Turns out I had a REALLY bad kidney infection. We found that out when we got home after Christmas.

I had never been able to go see the temple lights. Let me just say WOW!!! It was beautiful and peaceful. I wish we could go every year.   

Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone in the summer of 2009 with Ben's family. We rented a cabin in Island Park and had a blast.

 Kylee was fell asleep one of the days and I had to take a picture. She was trying so hard to get comfy and this is how she finally fell asleep. We all wished we could have a nap. It was a long weekend with a lot of walking. This was my first time going to Yellowstone. I loved it. I couldn't believe how beautiful everything is. Living in Arizona now makes me miss all the green even more.

Rexburg....also known as the ICEBURG

Before we moved to Rexburg my sister Jinger had this sweet little boy Kyle. He is so sleepy.

 We moved to Rexburg the 2nd year we where married. It was always cold. We moved to be closer to our jobs. Ben was working for Prosper. I was still working for Westmark Credit Union but I transfered to a branch and became a teller. It was nice living closer to my sister Jinger and her family. Ben and Carl (Jinger's husband) worked together so that was fun for them. I still only saw them like once a month. It was sad! Every  once in a while I was Jinger would let me watch her kids. This is a splash park in Rexburg. The boys loved the water. I miss my "little boys".

We went for drives a lot. Sometimes we brought friends along.

The water fall was pretty, but the bugs where so bad we only stayed for like ten minutes.

After the wedding

We lived in Idaho Falls for over a year we didn't take very many pictures but here is what we did. Ben found a job at Qwest working in there call center. I found a job at Westmark Credit Union. We worked hard and played hard. In September we made a trip to Portland OR for Ben's cousins wedding. It was beautiful!

 I loved seeing all the boats and barges. 

 The first toll bridge I have ever seen. We didn't get to drive across it though...not enough time :(

 Just before we went to Portland we got a new car. 2003 Dodge Durango. This picture was taken in Arizona.

This is Mousse. He was our baby for a year. We got him in the spring of 2009. He was 8 weeks old when we got him. He was so fun. He always new when we where having a hard day and needed a hug. We miss him a lot. We had to sell him before moving to Rexburg. We sold him to a nice family in Idaho Falls that had kids another dog and nice back yard. We often wonder if he is still alive and doing well. We loved our time in Idaho Falls. We miss the friends we made there, but are happy to be moving forward.
